Coastal Dreams – Textile Art

Thanks to the covid pandemic (along with the added complication of breaking my ankle) I had limited access in 2020/21 to my usual casting facilities as the government kept limiting travel in/out/around Greater Manchester and in particular Bolton, where Neo Studios happens to be situated. Luckily I have a studio in my garden where I make my textiles for sculptures so started creating more textile only pieces, still using my signature style, recycled materials and embellishing & embroidery techniques and mounting on recycled canvas frames where possible.

Knowing I was not the only one missing trips to the coast during lockdown, the Coastal Dreams series of works was born. These are now being stocked at some commercial galleries and interiors shops and available from my Folksy shop. Please contact to commission a particular size or colour way.
