Pockets of Nature
I miss the coast.
I miss the countryside.
Stay local they say.
I obey.
As we dream of distant places, close ups of natural textures transform into maps and landscapes of imaginary places.
During lockdown I started this new series of photographs and textile works cherishing nature in the city as access to the coast and the countryside was forbidden. In particular, celebrating the small connection to nature our city parks provide.
