I was Head of Design and Co-Creative Director of Aqueous Humour, a darkly comic physical theatre company. Founded in 2001 in partnership with The Lowry, our shows toured nationally including: Manchester Commonwealth Games, Edinburgh Hogmanay, Streets Ahead, Manchester Pride, London Zoo, London South Bank, MintFest and Streets of Brighton.

We specialised in creating high quality bouffon style comedy performance in non-traditional theatre spaces in both professional and community settings; developing our own shows and working with Contact, Bolton Octagon and M6 to work with their youth theatres to create new work.

We were artists in residence at Manchester KS3 PRU from 2011 until their relocation in 2015. Our time here included running an emotional literacy project which resulted in a small publication. The company closed in 2017 but I still continue to work on new projects with my fellow Creative Director, Tom Hogan at Proud & Loud Arts.

Shows & projects pictured include:

Amorous Congress, Bushpig, Quantified, The Sky Muffins, Oozebogs, Toffs on Tour, Fairy Christmas, Fisky Business, Charred Grizzle, #folksonomy, Emotionally Literate.
