People in Glass Cases Shouldn’t Throw Stones – CYAC

Welcome to the Museum of the Future, where people are perfectly preserved as objects of curiosity and nothing is quite what it seems…

Aqueous Humour worked with the Contact Young Actors Company to create an all-new family-friendly promenade production to be performed in the Manchester Museum. We used the spaces, exhibits, history & architecture as starting points & inspiration. It was directed by Aqueous Humour’s Artistic Director, Tom Hogan using their trademark bouffon style following themes of power, control & obsession in a twisted future. Writer Sonia Hughes & singer Carmel McCourt also came in to work with the group. The end result was a dystopian 80’s futuristic comedy and a sell out hit.
