Youth and Community

I have designed youth & community projects for Aqueous Humour, Creative Partnerships, Rochdale Council, M6 Theatre Company, Activ8, Bury Met, Burnley Youth Theatre, Box of Frogs and TIPP. I create projects in various visual art forms but my specialism is in working alongside other practitioners particularly in performance-based disciplines to bring a visual element to a project.

They created strolling work either on there own or in small groups as well as a static movement piece which involved all of them.

Frame of Mind – Activ8

Performed at Bolton Octagon, Studio & Mainhouse
Directed by Pete Smith

I was involved in the devising process of this health and education project. I worked closely with the young people as they created their characters which made designing the costume very straightforward. The set had to be suitable for both spaces at the Octagon.
