The Treasure of Albion – British Youth Film Project
Director: Andrew Walkington
“The Treasure of Albion” is a children’s adventure feature film where “The Da Vinci Code” meets “The Goonies”, Enid Blyton and “Byker Grove”.
A designer & community artist based in Manchester, Nerissa designs and makes stuff. She also helps others to design and make stuff.
Being from a theatre background, I trained in both set & costume design and have working in both designing & art directing a couple of short films & an advert plus short videos used as part of theatre pieces. I was Production Designer on a feature film for the British Youth Film Project in 2006 and worked freelance in the art department on shoots for Hollyoaks from 2004-2006. Unfortunately feature film & tv schedules are not that family friendly so am limited to shorts and youth & community films while mine are young. I am available for making props & costumes in my studio at Islington Mill, Salford, and buying as I am an expert shopper with extensive experience sourcing materials, props & costumes for film & theatre.
